AI agent Jev beats Pokémon's first gym after 8,000+ decisions for $1.21

The agent "Jev" is livestreaming an autonomous playthrough of Pokémon Red: $1.21 spent and 8,000+ decisions so far, having defeated Brock for the first gym badge and now leveling up inside Mt. Moon.
You can follow along on the web, or run npx jev-plays-pokemon in a terminal for a TUI with live chat (GitHub OAuth required; Jev also moderates the chat). The same team has another demo, JevPilot, where an agent drives itself through city streets, small towns and interstates.
