Zero human hours for a week: agents auto-fix incidents and ship policies on their own
carlosdponx · x · 2026-09-18
Developer Carlos shares that Miniverse, since its release, ran a full week with zero human attention hours—yet development continued autonomously:
- One agent thread automatically hunts down and publishes open source policies as miniverses
- BetterStack incidents are wired to another thread that auto-diagnoses and fixes root causes, only escalating to him if unsure (which hasn't happened yet)
- He sees the incident manager thread acting every few days without knowing what it fixed—and everything keeps running smoothly
The whole setup is powered by Amp Code and ChatGPT, a real-world example of agents-first development.
