AI Doomer ecosystem map sparks feud: creator accuses Brian Chau of repackaging EA work

A dispute over an AI Doomer ecosystem map escalated on X. Map creator menhguin says he commissioned it three years ago and accuses Brian Chau of cobbling together publicly disclosed EA community work into "lazy journalism" for impressions. Chau maintains that the six parties belong to an ecosystem united around belief that AI will end the human race, and that they will pay for any narrative to stop AI. Critics counter that anti-AI sentiment is hardly a manufactured niche and all the information was openly available.
