Salesforce researcher huanwang announced Salesforce Koa, the company's first reasoning model, built for what CRM agents actually do and brought to production with Nvidia. The lineage: xLAM large action models, then xLAM-2 extending them to coherent multi-turn agentic interactions. Open artifacts include the APIGen-MT-5k dataset, the APIGen-MT data pipeline, ActionStudio training code, and two papers.
