Geo Whisperer Beta: type an address, get AI-checked before/after satellite imagery for geo-verification
henkvaness · x · 2026-09-18
- Developer henkvaness launched Geo Whisperer Beta (geowhisperer.org), free and signup-free: enter any address and it pulls archived satellite imagery (Esri World Imagery Wayback etc.), compares before/after cell by cell, and lists what disappeared and what was built.
- Two-pass pipeline: mechanical checks with no model involved (duplicate images, resolution mismatch, time gap, season, capture date, zoom range, nearby landmarks), then model reading — any change not grounded in both photos is discarded.
- Built for geo-verification: drop a GPS-tagged photo and compare surroundings; photos are read locally in the browser, never uploaded. Generated films are deleted after 14 days.
