Parallel's COLONY runs prompt-to-3D game asset pipeline on Atlas, 2,000+ runs in first month
templecrash · x · 2026-09-18
Parallel's COLONY game, working with Google Cloud and Atlas, uses an AI pipeline to generate player-requested game gear on demand. Any helmet, weapon, or shield a player asks for becomes game-ready through a governed three-stage graph: prompt → concept image → textured 3D asset.
Key design: all models run on a backend-enforced IP-safe allowlist so nothing generated falls outside the studio's rights; artists define the style once and Atlas scales it. The pipeline completed 2,000+ production runs in its first 30 days.
