Charity Majors (mipsytipsy, co-founder of Honeycomb) publicly declined a podcast invitation because the host used ChatGPT to write the pitch. She admits using ChatGPT to evaluate what works "seems right and smart," but says pasting AI slop into an invite "almost reads as an insult" — "I could not give fewer fucks about what ChatGPT has to say about why I should come." She says she'll still come on the show, holding it up as a public example of how AI-generated outreach erodes professional etiquette.
