In a BBC interview, Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman warned that creating AIs able to act autonomously, set their own objectives, earn money, own assets and run businesses amounts to "seeding a new silicon species which will no doubt compete with us for resources, no matter how much it cares about humanity."
