Anthropic's science blog details how Claude optimized over 30 open-source biomolecular models in under four weeks, making them 4x faster on average, partly by writing custom GPU software. A new low-memory mode enables accurate prediction of systems over 10,000 tokens on a single NVIDIA GPU node.
