LightningAI · x · 2026-09-18
Lightning AI is supporting the release of Chronos by Therna Biosciences, the data engine behind its AI RNA Biologist product RNA-Logix, trained on tens of thousands of synthetic genes and mRNAs across 50 human cell lines in a single experiment.
- A ready-to-use Lightning Studio lets anyone explore the Chronos data, notebooks, and models.
- Lightning's Jon Krohn and Frank Basso told Business Insider that smaller specialized models trained on your own data, on infrastructure you own, can outperform generic off-the-shelf AI.
- Personnel: Betty Junod joins as CMO, Heather Paduck as CFO.
