Anthropic published new measurements showing Claude now handles 26% of the company's own R&D work, up from nearly zero six months ago. Part of its Anthropic Institute effort to quantify the pace of AI-accelerated development inside frontier labs, this is one of the most direct data points yet on AI doing AI research.
