Claude Code launches Projects: auto-splitting threads run as parallel cloud sessions
bcherny · x · 2026-09-18
Anthropic rolled out Projects in Claude Code on desktop and web (beta for select users): a project is one conversation with Claude that splits work into threads, runs them as parallel cloud sessions, passes context between them, and keeps going when you leave. Developer bcherny shares his real workflow: he stopped managing sessions, sends thoughts as they come, and Claude splits them into threads while the project remembers how he works.
