WIRED reports Salesforce's Dreamforce became an unlikely battleground for the OpenAI, Anthropic and Nvidia CEOs to debate whether AI development should slow down. It follows Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon's public resignation warning that racing toward self-improving AI is "gambling with our lives," with other employees echoing concerns. Salesforce meanwhile projects $46B+ revenue in 2027, partly on AI product demand.
