Former OpenAI engineer Yacine argued that enterprises are humans' next iteration as entities — unbounded by lifespan or "meaty compute," the next step in the evolution of complex thinking machines. In a follow-up he warned:
- Companies still alive will become the new species; zombies will turn to dust while the rest violently thrash to hold on
- It's existential: if you don't learn to run and train your own AIs, your company will get eaten alive
Doomer-flavored, but it comes from a practitioner shipping agent products and reflects a real strain of big-picture thinking about AI's impact on organizations.
