Anthropic opened applications for its Life Sciences Verification Program (LSVP), letting verified life science professionals use Mythos, Opus, and Sonnet for biology work normally blocked in general models—drug discovery, research biology, clinical development, and manufacturing. Applicants undergo credential, security, and ethics review; grants split into "Standard Use" (team-wide, annual renewal) and "High-risk Use" tiers, usable across Claude Science, Claude.ai, Claude Code, and the API. Dozens of orgs already onboarded via early access; beta starts with teams, expanding later to individual Pro/Max plans.
