Anthropic Rolls Out Projects in Claude Code: One Conversation, Parallel Cloud Sessions
_catwu · x · 2026-09-18
Anthropic announced Projects in Claude Code on desktop and web (beta for select users):
- A project is one conversation with Claude; it splits work into threads itself and runs them as parallel cloud sessions.
- Context is passed between threads, and work continues when you leave.
- Anthropic engineer catwu says she uses it daily: batch off tasks, then ask for aggregated status updates anytime; projects come with long-lived memory that evolves with use.
- Rolling out over the coming weeks.
