Anthropic rolls out Projects in Claude Code, letting Claude run parallel threads on its own
bcherny · x · 2026-09-18
Anthropic announced that Projects now run from a single conversation, starting in Claude Code: you describe the task, and Claude directs parallel threads that keep working in cloud sessions even after you close your laptop.
The feature is in beta today for select Pro and Max users, with a rollout to all Claude users coming soon. Claude engineer bcherny says Projects are how he writes much of his code these days.
