A Show HN project called Die With Me turns your Claude / Codex usage headroom into a shared status — like an AIM buddy list, but for AI tokens. Friends can see how much allowance you have left.
There's a party trick too: when someone's token allowance drops below 20%, a chatroom opens for everyone waiting on a reset. The author built it to recapture the old-internet feeling of casually checking whether friends were online and finding excuses to say hi.
