Beacon Holdings acquires AI safety startup Haize Labs; founder named VP of AI Research

Leonard Tang announced that Beacon Holdings has acquired Haize Labs, the AI reliability startup he co-founded in 2024; he joins as VP of AI Research. Haize built red-teaming and safeguards work with frontier labs plus an observability, guardrail, and evaluation platform for large enterprises, along with pro bono SMB offerings. Under Beacon, the plan is to bring trustworthy AI to essential Main Street businesses that Silicon Valley has overlooked.
