NewEyes opens third-party access to Meta AI glasses, bringing sight-aware AI chat
rohanpaul_ai · x · 2026-09-18
NewEyes has opened pairing with Meta AI glasses (invite-based, rolled out account by account), letting users talk hands-free with an AI that sees what they see. Any glasses that pair with the Meta AI app work: Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 ($379, recommended), Gen 1 ($299), Oakley Meta HSTN ($399), and Oakley Meta Vanguard ($499).
Setup: pair glasses with Meta AI first, request an invitation with your Meta account email, accept Meta's email invite, then authorize NewEyes from its camera button and toggle it on inside the Meta AI app. Camera and microphone access required; unencrypted connections are allowed during early access.
