OpenCode PR fixes dropped response.modelId metadata in AI SDK stream events
KarmCraft · ghdev · 2026-09-18
KarmCraft opened PR #49571 against anomalyco/opencode to stop discarding response.modelId when adapting AI SDK stream events. The value now rides on the step-finish part and is exposed as optional modelID in the session schema and generated SDK types, keeping the AI SDK's structured model ID rather than response headers.
- Replaces two earlier PRs that were closed by repo automation, with an intentionally narrower scope
- Serves as an upstream prerequisite for pingdotgg/t3code#10726
- Verified with 47 focused session tests, typechecks across four packages, SDK regeneration, and a full 30-package Turbo typecheck
