NY Attorney General opens whistleblower channel for unlawful AI development tips

New York Attorney General Letitia James publicly stated that AI's power and promise are no excuse for breaking the law or putting New Yorkers at risk, urging workers with information about emerging AI development that may violate the law to contact her office.
The OAG whistleblower portal supports anonymous submissions and two-way communication via a unique key code; for stronger anonymity, the office recommends submitting through Tor Browser.
