Jev: an open-source action-picker that splits agent thinking from clicking

alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-09-17

A share of the open-source project Jev: it looks at the page, sees the real buttons, and just picks an action — click, type, scroll, wait, buy/sell, retry/stop, or hand off to another agent. The trick is splitting thinking from action selection: the big model does the hard reasoning while a small fast model picks the next click. Use cases include fast browser agents, auto QA, trading loops, agent routing, and games/robots. Author notes claims are still being verified; code is open source.
