Tencent has released Hunyuan HY4 Preview, a fully open-source model with 770B total parameters (49B active) and a 1M+ token context window — its third major release in six months.
The model targets real-world productivity: coding, engineering, office work, science, finance and security. It was co-designed alongside Tencent's WorkBuddy product using real ecosystem data. The author tested it by turning a game idea into a playable experience via WorkBuddy and found it impressively capable, placing it among leading open-source models.
