World model interactivity: handling mixed-frequency state updates at 10Hz
abursuc · x · 2026-09-17
In a thread from the ssad2026 workshop, the author discusses a key challenge for true interactivity in world models:
- State must carry information at many different frequencies — e.g., stepping the world model with new actions every 10Hz, each updating the state.
- Another challenge: when intervening in the environment, state and actions may be correlated.
