Spreadsheet agents should deliver editable drafts, not just approval summaries

A Reddit user argues spreadsheet agents shouldn't just show a summary and ask for approval — they should leave an actual artifact you can correct. If the agent files a contractor under the wrong department, the reviewer should be able to open the sheet, fix it, and watch totals update.

His proposal: the agent works on a separate draft version while the original stays untouched. The reviewer edits the draft, verifies the changes, and only then merges it into the main sheet — making the handoff about reviewing real work, not the agent's explanation of what it did.
