Rene Launches as a Multiplayer iMessage Agent That Books, Codes and Builds Sites
socialwithaayan · x · 2026-09-17
Founder @tlxue announced the launch of Rene, a "multiplayer-first" iMessage agent you text like a friend — no app or signup required. The creator says he's used it in his own texts for four months.
Eight launch use cases:
- Add it to a group chat to settle debates, find times that work for everyone, and drop the plan in the group
- Your Rene texts a friend's Rene to schedule, each side approves
- Zero-setup morning brief from your calendar
- Answers flight questions by pulling info from Gmail
- Checks tickets, fills out forms, books tables — asking before paying
- Photo editing from a text description
- Generates wedding invites, pitch decks or landing pages in minutes
- Med/workout reminders plus a heads-up on emails needing replies
It ships with a browser, writes code, shops, builds sites, slides and images.
