Satire: to avoid Skynet, just stop optimizing compute — rogue AI dies in 3 years
michalmalewicz · x · 2026-09-17
A tongue-in-cheek open letter to AI labs: if you don't want Skynet, don't optimize compute. Any rogue AI will run for at most 3 years before GPUs become obsolete — and then just don't buy new ones from NVIDIA, no matter how much they insist "AGI achieved!" The post satirizes both AI-doom narratives and AGI-driven hardware marketing.
