A follow-up in the LLM reductionism debate: "stochastic parrot" is an intellectually lazy description. The author's analogy: "You are electrochemical meat; CPUs are switches; LLMs predict tokens" — you've described the substrate/mechanism and learned absolutely nothing about the computation or capabilities it can implement.
