Nearly all top-10 PFAS makers plan production hikes to serve AI chips and data center cooling

Per The Guardian, a 'tidal wave' of PFAS ('forever chemicals') is being produced to satisfy the AI industry: nearly all of the world's 10 biggest PFAS manufacturers plan to increase output for semiconductors and data center cooling systems. PFAS never break down in nature and are linked to cancer, meaning AI infrastructure growth is amplifying a serious toxic-pollution problem.
