pi-crew brings non-blocking parallel subagent orchestration to the pi terminal AI
solyarisoftware · x · 2026-09-17
Newly open-sourced (MIT), pi-crew adds non-blocking parallel subagent orchestration to the pi terminal AI tool: delegate a task, keep working, and results return automatically in the background.
Highlights:
- True parallel workflows: /pi-crew-review spawns correctness and maintainability reviewers in parallel, then merges reports.
- Six bundled roles: scout, planner, worker and other specialized agents out of the box.
- Context isolation: background tasks run in separate processes with crewabort support, never polluting your session.
- Local customization: define custom agents as plain text in .pi/agents/ and attach tools.
Requires Pi 0.84.3+; install via npm or git.
