Professor igilitschenski congratulated his PhD student Ziyi Wu on graduating from the University of Toronto and joining Google DeepMind's Genie team. Ziyi's work spans object-centric representations carried from toy examples to neural assets, fine-grained temporal controllability for non-autoregressive video diffusion models, and adapting DPO to video — a notable talent move in controllable generative media.
