Heavy user burns through Astra quota in about a day, questions the 'for everyone' pitch

altryne · x · 2026-09-17

Developer altryne complains that the coding product Astra's quota is far too small despite the "Fast, Frontier, Efficient, For everyone" marketing: his weekly allowance ran out after roughly a day, and after resetting yesterday he's already burned through over 80% using only medium (non-fast) mode.

The firsthand feedback suggests Astra's current limits are inadequate for heavy users, making the "for everyone" positioning questionable.
