The author gave Claude a single ask: turn Chopin's Barcarolle, Op. 60 into a score-following video, with no MIDI, MusicXML, or score scan provided. Claude generated the notation, timing, note-by-note highlighting, and audio itself.
Results:
- The engraved score scrolls horizontally, each note lights up as it sounds, with a soft glow tracking the playhead
- Pedal markings, slurs, dynamics, and velocity numbers over the right-hand line all came out in the same pass
- The surprise is sync quality: in 12/8 time with a rocking left hand, parallel thirds/sixths, and heavy ornamentation, the highlighting stays locked to the audio through the first 60 seconds
