Perplexity ships Search SDK cookbook: code-controlled search feeds migration briefs to coding agents
AravSrinivas · x · 2026-09-17
Perplexity released a new Search SDK cookbook, 'Search as Code for coding agents,' alongside endorsement from CEO Arav Srinivas. The sample program runs five focused searches limited to official docs, extracts relevant passages, and writes a source-linked Markdown brief any coding agent can inspect before editing code — making search a reviewable, rerunnable Python stage rather than a browser transcript. Includes a product-selection guide across Search SDK, API, CLI, MCP and Agent API.
