Per Semafor, the Commerce Department quietly ordered Kalshi last month to unpublish its AI compute futures curve, citing national security, and pressed the CFTC to freeze new compute contracts for 60 days.
Commerce's on-record response is that the story is false, though Kalshi pulled the product anyway and the underlying markets are still trading. Genuinely unresolved and worth watching.
