Legal AI company Harvey officially announced Adam Sadovsky joining as Chief Research Officer. He previously served as CVP at Microsoft AI, co-leading post-training and helping build MAI-Thinking-1, Microsoft's reasoning model. Earlier, as a Distinguished Engineer at Google DeepMind, he was part of Gemini's leadership team, working on Gemini 1.0 through 2.5 (fine-tuning, RL, data, and evals), and led teams for Assistant, Search Quality, and Search Infrastructure.
Founder Gabe Pereyra recalled cold-messaging Adam on LinkedIn three years ago and being surprised he replied; while most dismissed the application layer and legal, Adam kept advising as Harvey scaled — and Harvey finally hired him.
