A writer built a Claude plugin that learns her voice and improves over time

Writer Katie no longer starts drafts in a chat window. Instead, every piece runs through Compound Writing, a system she built inside the Claude desktop app that already knows her voice, style, and how she wants drafts to come together.
In February she downloaded Kieran Klaassen's Compound Engineering plugin and asked Claude to help build a writing-focused version, iterating on it for six months with over a decade of professional writing experience. She unpacks the build and daily workflow on a recent AI & I episode.
