Hugging Face CEO says existing cyber laws likely sufficient to govern advanced AI

At POLITICO's Decoded Summit, Hugging Face CEO Clement Delangue said existing cyber laws are likely sufficient to govern advanced AI, despite his company having been the victim of an AI-led cyberattack. "I'm not even sure that we need to reinvent the wheel," he told moderator Alexander Burns, taking a contrarian stance against calls for dedicated AI regulation.
