Paper2Agent turns any research paper into a collaborating AI agent (Nature)
EricTopol · x · 2026-09-17
James Zou's Stanford team published Paper2Agent in Nature: a tool that converts any research paper into a bespoke AI agent acting as a "virtual corresponding author." It answers questions instantly, applies the paper's methods to new datasets, aids reproduction, and autonomously collaborates with agents from other disciplines — reimagining papers as "living" sources of knowledge.
