Researcher: AI swarms are the only path to 10,000x more compute at use-time than train-time
1a3orn · x · 2026-09-17
1a3orn argues AI swarms/groups are likely the future because they're the only way to apply 10,000x more compute to problems at use-time than at train-time.
He adds that linear scale-out from speeding up token generation hits hardware problems much faster than parallel scale-out, making multi-agent parallelism the more sustainable path for scaling inference-time compute.
