Palantir CEO Karp on Ontology: 'You can sell fertility or condoms, not both'

Palantir CEO Alex Karp used a colorful metaphor to discuss the expanding value of the Ontology platform and fend off competition concerns: "Would you trust the condom manufacturer to also be your fertility manufacturer? You can sell fertility or condoms, you can't sell both."
He acknowledged one could build a micro-Ontology, but argued Palantir is building Ontologies that let you fine-tune against specific problems and parameters embedded in data at scale.
