Stanford's Anka Reuel to join Harvard in 2027, launching lab on AI evals and governance

Stanford researcher Anka Reuel announced she will start as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Engineering in 2027, focusing on AI evals.
Her lab will also work on monitorability, incident analysis, and verification to advance technical AI governance. She plans to hire postdocs, PhD students, research engineers, and a chief of staff, and has launched a Substack to share her work on AI and governance.
