A debate over whether Anthropic is an 'EA company': one side argues the vast majority of its employees aren't EAs, unlike EA organizations staffed by EAs. A rebuttal calls that a bit disingenuous — Anthropic has EA funders and much of its leadership is familiar with and vaguely inspired by EA, but only a small slice of leadership and a small yet influential subset of employees identify as EAs.
