Zhipu raises year-end ARR guidance 25% to $3.0bn on overseas cloud hosting deals

Zhipu has signed revenue-share agreements with several leading domestic and international cloud providers to offer GLM-series open-source models as hosted APIs on overseas platforms, with revenue recognized from October. Company-wide ARR stands at $1.8bn, and year-end ARR guidance was raised 25% from $2.4bn to $3.0bn — a sign Chinese model vendors are monetizing open-source models abroad via cloud hosting.
