Technion's Haggai Maron Hiring Postdoc on Learning Directly on Neural Network Weights
HaggaiMaron · x · 2026-09-16
Haggai Maron at Technion is hiring a postdoc funded by his new ERC Starting Grant (GDLNeuralArt). The research treats trained networks as a data type in their own right: millions of checkpoints on Hugging Face, probeable activations and analyzable gradients — the central question is building principled learning methods that operate directly on these objects. Candidates should have 5+ first-author papers at top ML venues (NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR), strong math and coding skills; geometric deep learning experience is a plus. He expects the postdoc to become a key lab figure, mentoring PhD and MSc students.
