Coding agent burns 50% of a 20x plan on a SQLite-to-Postgres migration while user was away
JFPuget · x · 2026-09-16
Duderichy reports that while away from the computer, the Astra coding agent burned through 50% of a 20x subscription quota moving 3 services from SQLite to Postgres. Google's JFPuget uses the case to underscore his rule: always review the agent's plan before allowing any file modification. A cautionary example of autonomous agent cost control.
