Developer ditches Astra for 5.6 Sol high/xHigh setup with Luna subagent, says usage improved
rudrank · x · 2026-09-16
Developer rudrank shares a first-hand coding-agent configuration change: he stopped using Astra (its tokens "burn" too fast, forcing a daily banked reset) and returned to a combo of 5.6 Sol at high/xHigh plus a max-tier Luna subagent.
With this setup he shipped several Rork features and three releases of ASC CLI, reporting much better weekly usage. He even used /fast to triage an auth change Apple made. A concrete, real-world data point on agent setups and token cost tradeoffs.
