Genome Biology opens collection on tumor microenvironment, welcomes AI and multi-omic methods

Genome Biology has launched a collection on the tumor microenvironment (TME), inviting single-cell, spatial, longitudinal and multi-omic studies of how the TME shapes tumor evolution, immune evasion and therapy response.
The journal especially welcomes computational and statistical methods — including AI, multi-omic integration, causal inference and predictive modeling — plus mechanistic or predictive insights and broadly useful analytical frameworks beyond descriptive cataloguing. Submissions close 19 May 2027.
