Alibaba built Qwen, yet Qwen cites Baidu (8.1%) far more than Alibaba's own domains (0.8%)

An observation on LLM citation behavior: Qwen, built by Alibaba, cites its parent company's own domains in only 0.8% of sources, while citing Baidu at 8.1%, Tencent at 2.4%, and ByteDance at 1.6%.
In other words, Qwen references Baidu roughly 10x more often than Alibaba itself — suggesting model citation distribution has little to do with corporate ownership, a useful data point for generative search optimization (GEO/AEO).
